MNF 18th

Festive Greetings!

Relax. Christmas is almost here. Like you, I've been spending the week feigning excitement over horrendous Xmas Parties and blaming sprouty flatulence on the office hounds. But I've still found time to knock together a hangover-beating mini-selection of footballers on a pitch in Rowley Lane 8pm that's guaranteed to beat a re-watch of The Spy Who Loved Me. Though if you check out the girls from last night, I'll understand if you'd rather spend the day masturbating yourself into a nerdy frenzy. See you on Monday if not 2018!

MNF 20th

Morning

Stop press! Paul Churchill is hot high in real life. I know, because he’s only ever turned up twice before (and not been able to find his shooting boots) for an MNF game. Unfortunately there is no video, which would confirm, if you like, my suspicion that his frontage may have it’s own Alta ego. Elsewhere, I’ve once again been plundering pitches from all over the country and places you’ve heard but never been to. Tonight’s game is at our old stomping ground Borehamwood FC  (8pm) and will include lots of great jokes about hot potatoes.

MNF 13th

Keeping a keen eye on our MNF Football pitches? You’ll have noted that October’s Pitch of the Month award goes to Borehamwood and whilst last week’s game was most enjoyable if somewhat confusing. BWFC still tops the weekly table, by virtue of cheating and because its cheaper. So thanks to our friends at Borehawood, chuck an email here and I’ll get you in tomorrows game.

MNF 30th

Its not Halloween, but obvs people are still celebrating so a little Trick or Treat for you guys on Monday back at Borehamwood FC (8pm) you can see off the shambling undead by thwacking footballs at their faces. No extra points for crotch shots, sadly. But be sure to read the MNF briefings properly, else you’ll end up being dropped or going to the wrong venue. Know what that means? Game over.

And its a lot cheaper than 1 hour with these two… Don’t get lost this time Defraud otherwise the its Louise and Martine (second pic) for you…

MNF 16th

Hello you. It's no secret that times are hard, Deniz. Even the imminent MNF email is late - an event once so epically sordid that someone would, every year, without fail, wpuld be shouted at or taken out by Richard Freed - has this year been reduced to a barely footy chinwag around a junior school carpark that’s being demolished. Still, I’m committed to helping the rest of you out, hence why I’m rolling out the killer new pitch at Borehamwood next week. 8pm sound good?

MNF 9th

The race for the Pitch livened up this week as a Borehamwood FC have a under 21’s game on Monday. Early conclusions? By the hairspray-helmeted standards of MNF, the 20+ -years we have been playing there it looks like we are still having to fit in around their home games. So next week is at the Hertsmere and kick off is 7.30pm

Want in? Register your name here. This week's winners bags themselves free entry to McQueen tonight.

MNF 2nd

Dear treasured MNFer,

You may have twigged by now that MNF has the habit of running a first-come, first-served place in Mondays game for those quick to the inbox on a Friday. First up: 8-aide to be held at the new, improved, a-shit-load-bigger and better Borehamwood FC. The Darks are taking on the Whites in a centenary rematch of last weeks game. Want in? Email me here to claim a space.

MNF 25th

Morning!

Happy New Year Peeps!

As with most odd-numbered years, there’s not much to look forward to on 2017’s ibiza calendar. Following the Tuesday Night debacle, I’m already writing off Borehamwood FC for the next month or so. Even my last trip to White Isle Likely to be delayed now that Uber have lost their license.

Thankfully, I’m committed to the future of your sporting pleasure. Which is why I’ve secured a 10 week slot at the newly revamped Hertsmere Centre (where we were before) 8-9 pm – the practically no-holds-barred painfest of moving back and forward with BWFC still needs to be sorted out – so putting this onto the remainder of the MNF calendar helps a bring a bit of normality back home…
