It’s nearly – nearly – the end of an era: the end of somewhat unconventional tinkering with a “home-moving” MNF. Yep, we’re binning it for something better and still stuffed full of the usual tat and titillation, but not before we pretend you care and offer up 16 places to the longstanding players. You’ll also get a bundle of average-insult themed jokes from Stepsky for your troubles.  Also worth investigating this week and much funnier than Richard Freed's emails is a 1 hour game with corners and bigger goals. I’ve flagged up the new time & venue, but wanted to make double sure you didn’t miss it. Better than that? There’s always Keeley who I met last night…

MNF 15th URGENT

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ NEW ADDRESS AND TIME!!!!

MNF bid farewell to Meadow Park this week as we played our last ever game at the ground before it is knocked down to make way for a new super duper G4 pitch. So like Spurs’s move to Wembley hopefully our trip up the road to The Hertswood Centre won’t cause to many disappointments and disruption to your playing ability… 

I know we didn’t have time for a farewell get together but Borehmawood FC sent the letter to the wrong address! We still have plenty still to play for over the next 6-8 weeks but please be advised that due to Health and Safety, Hertswood closes at 9pm meaning we need to start 30 mins earlier so its 7.30pm to 8.30pm not that should spoil the MNF party. 

Please let me know asap so I can get all confirmed

In a deeply selfish and short-sighted way, I might have to miss Monday s game. I know I’m rarely much comprehensible on the pitch but still never less than entertaining. Will keep you updated.

So someone with a really big brain has developed a device that trains you to move objects using just your mind. Which is unbelievably exciting and will come in handy for a few of us…
