I went to a party on Sat night. Emma’s Birthday party. It was a good time. A good and messy time. One person went home at 10pm (Simon Defriend). One was sick in the road. (Didge) One spent £80 on a taxi home. One of us questioned whether a big mound of oven-cooked potato wedges could actually be considered a canape. I don’t feel good today. Don’t forget last weeks subs (£10) otherwise you don’t play see you at 7.50pm

MNF 31st

Hi there,
What’s up? Nothing, I know, because it’s Friday. Friday’s all about getting out of the Hospital on time, going home, going to bed and preparing for Saturday. Saturday’s when the upward climb to a brilliant Sunday begins. Then you can relax on Monday, safe in the knowledge that that night is MNF and no one can wait for that. I’ve cheered you up, haven’t I? That’s what I do. I can’t help it. Soccerette Anyone??

MNF 24th TEAMS

Hi there,

So, Monday it is. This weekend, I’ve DJ’d at a fit 18 year olds birthday, flown to Cannes for lunch, interviewed a Japanese girl about a job and edited Mondays MNF highlights. This week, I will mostly be talking BS at Midem and trying to make a packet of lentils last until Friday. Music Biz=glamour.

Hi there,
Monday was supposed to be the most depressing of the year, but I have to disagree. Why? Well, there’s this scientist in Japan, right, called Akira Iritani, who says he has a "reasonable chance" of successfully cloning a woolly mammoth within the next three years. Definitely something to be cheery about. Plus I have the highlights from this weeks MNF CLICK BELOW to see the goals, tackles and hoofs of an exciting game…..talking about tackle has anyone seen David Lee? apparently he's been hanging out with Alan Johnson’s wife………..I prefer the blonde beauty I met last night!!

Convinced that while you were asleep last night someone removed your brain and marinated it in a secret MNF vibes recipe so that when you woke up this morning every aspect of your mind was infused with MNF? Good week? Of course not, it was the bloody working week. Here’s some stuff members of the MNF Army are gonna do in the next two days: Wedding: David Lee is getting married, in an all you can eat Chinese restaurant run by Indian people, going shopping with the missus for the first time since the bad weather broke, well, shopping for a bit, watching Spurs v Man U and listening to the Deniz Aziz best man’s speech which lets hope is slightly better than his goal last week, if you wanna see the highlights go here – there’s some nice showboats……So there you go.

Today’s a very mixed bag. Good: Dave Jones is back. Bad: it’s really crap and cold outside. Good: there are lots of very attractive women in reception. Bad: they are not here to see me. Good: Shimon Defriend is back. Bad: He reckons his listing as the 15th best modern MNFer is “another nail in the coffin of 8-a-side Football.”

"Oh, hi. Yeah yeah fine thanks. Not much really, just a bit of filming like an old person in the cold, trying not to fall over, that kind of thing. Saw an amazing Hat trick by Lloyd Becker on Monday night, that was pretty exciting. Either he has been training at Spurs Lodge, or having football lessons with Richard Ashley.
